Describe requirements
Real-world Problem: Conveying the location and status of structural hazards (including monitoring points) and stations to other Structure Specialist and stakeholders is challenging.
Technical Problem: We need to use images to pass off information regarding hazards / risk. Paper forms don't really work well on their own for this process. We need to be able to share the information across time and space.
Current Approach by Heather US&R Monitoring Log
"Collage App" used to bring photos together.
"Take a picture write down what point it is."
Proposed Solution A point layer with symbology and attributes as described below.
Category - Symbols for the below Monitoring Points (MPt) - Control Points (CPt) - Total Station (TSt) - look for symbol for surveying, ideally has a direction with rotation. Monitoring Misc (MMi) - miscellaneous notes.

A polygon layer with Risk Zones High Medium Low
Alternatives
Use situation update icon for now for the monitoring points. Use search segments for now for the hazard zones.
