Invalid DOI - Zenodo Transit #110

For some reason we're getting several Invalid DOI errors in the transit stats (and thus papers are being blocked from BLR/Zenodo).

The DOIs themselves seem mostly fine. I'm guessing it must be something on Zenodo's end, maybe asking for the http completement or something like that...

I'm observing this as well ... there is most definitely an issue on the Zenodo end, as I quite frequently see "The persistent identifier is already registered." type errors on updates, i.e., the deposition already exists and was created alright at some earlier point, but publishing an update fails with the above error ... you can even reproduce that in the web UI ... notified Alex early last week.
