installation in Mandriva from source #11

I download zip file and installed Python-whiteboard in my Mandriva 2011.0 64 bit. The installation has been quite easy and very similar to version 0.9X that I used more than one year ago. I found one difference and one confirmation: 1) it seems cviid is not requested anymore, correct ? 2) in Mandriva I can't find python-support then I don't installed it but Python-whiteboard opens normally. So it seems python-support isn't really necessary, correct?

In my Debian computer, python-support package description reads: "This package contains the 'update-python-modules' script, which takes care of byte-compilation of Python-only modules."

cwiid is no longer a requirement, correct.

I searched again without success. I used Python-whiteboard several times and it works normally then for the moment it seems python-support is not strictly necessary. Thanks.
