When you begin working on this, please make sure that it's optional and can be 
turned 
on and off in the Preferences. I really dislike the default Palm music player 
specifically because it uses the notification area and clutters up my screen.

Ya... it's not something I really see myself using either, which is why I 
haven't done 
it yet.  I'll make it optional.
