[1.6.0b6] Pad preview for notes in playback mode only lights up one pad #1558

When "Pads preview" is set to Pattern and Note mode is selected, only one pad lights up, even if multiple notes/instruments are playing. When in Instrument mode, it is working as expected.

After some testing, it does work when the note is in a specific range. But samples in beat slice mode have slices that play at lower octaves (starting at C2) and do not appear to be within the range of the pad preview. What is the expectation for pad preview on beat slices? Can the starting note of a beat slice be manually defined?
