Describe the problem:
I just updated successfully from 21.04 to 21.10. However, I found now that on GNOME Calendar, event names are being displayed with a white text on white background (light theme). This only happens for events with a set time (and not all-day).
You can see in the screenshot below that the text is somewhat readable on the highlighted day (15) because of the highlight, but it's not readable on days 8 and 9, for example.
Steps to reproduce:
Set OS appearance to "light" or theme to "Pop"
Open GNOME Calendar 41 (pre-installed version on Pop!_OS 21.10)
Add or view an event with a set time
