Additional VTs are unavailable with kernel parameter gfxmode=text #172

 * Distribution - (run ```cat /etc/os-release```)
 * Related Application and/or Package Version - apt policy $PACKAGE NAME

Pop!_OS 17.10 NVIDIA (build 30)

Issue/Bug Description Passing the parameter gfxmode=text will result, when switching to a different VT, a black screen with no mode of input.
