As far as I know, AirPlay doesn't support low latency streaming making it pretty much useless for this use case. I could be wrong, but I don't know of any way of doing this at least.

It does exist in 3rd party AirPlay softwares such as TuneBlade or AirParrot.
What feature would you like?
I would like to request a feature that allows streaming live audio output to a HomePod. For example, connect to the HomePod, play a song on YouTube from a laptop, then play a game simultaneously, with all audio being streamed to the HomePod.
The focus is on streaming live audio output, not just specific MP3 files or URLs.
Describe the solution you'd like
The option to stream live audio output from the connected device to an audio receiver, such as a HomePod.
