Let's discuss whether this UX could be improved by making selection and / or 
drop areas larger.

maybe grab bar has roll-over state

We had initially speced this so the grab bar slides down on rollover providing 
a larger "grab area". In addition the drop shadow increases on mouse click. See 
attached for an example.
