Changing the modeline theme - built in themes
spacemacs (looks very nicer with the doom-specialized-light/dark themes)
all-the-icons - SPC SPC all-the-icons-install-fonts and select segments you want. No persp mode (issue was raised in 2017), although eyebrowse is nice
vim-powerline (havent tried yet)
doom (minor modes show as text rather than icons, Evil states do not use Spacemacs colour theme regardless of Emacs theme)
custom - choose your own segments, docs include an example
