What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Receive SMS message in hangouts
2. Delete hangouts conversation without opening the conversation first
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: new messages in the deleted conversation should be subtracted
from the unread messages count after deletion
Actual output: unread messages from deleted conversation remain in unread SMS
count, with no way of removing these (as new messages cannot be read after a
conversation is deleted)
What version of the product are you using?
Dashclock widget v1.6
Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
Nexus 5. Android lollipop 5.0.1
Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
No customisation.
Please provide any additional information below.
Please also advise if there is a way to retrieve deleted messages (they do not
apear in the archive) so that new messages from previously deleted conversions
can be read. Thank you.
