Preset colors not working in template #2

I've created a default palette of colors, and any of the custom colors I added to the palette do not display when I call entry.colorField.hex.

The Base colors work, as do custom colors added via the input field. However those default colors I chose don't seem to work. When I try to print the hex it comes out as just an empty string. The handle attribute works correctly and will spit out "red" or "gray" in plain text, but none of the color-related methods give me anything but an empty string.
