As our extension is an end user tool, the name should not be too technical. Other properties:

• it is catchy
• not too long
• unique (for SEO purposes)
• has a positive vibe

But I am also fine with a name that sounds good and/or is just intuitively good.

An idea for octo optics

Can you make it look more friendly? For example, in the style of the Salesforce or GitHub mascots. Maybe, with a mouth, nose, ... ? Also, maybe a magnifying glass or something like that would be more fitting than a lock as we are more about seeing things as opposed to locking them.

We can also work with Octo Optics, though, I think it can be improved. There are two points for me. If I see it, I want to say Opto Octics. Also, I am not sure whether people will make the connection optics -> privacy transparency, etc. I am associating optometrists, scientific instruments, ... . Are there replacements for Optics? Maybe, also just Octo? The name also does not necessarily need to reflect the animal, in my opinion.

Does anyone else have thoughts?

Edit: Maybe, we will have also a difference between a logo (which can be simple so that it can be used as a favicon, for example) and a mascot (which is a more intricate design).
