Publications deposited from the last step in the AI OA Workflow are ending up with an "Activity insight postprint status" of "Already Openly Available" instead of "Deposited to ScholarSphere." This is not a big problem, but it's also not how it's supposed to work. It would be nice to fix it so it's more clear to Activity Insight users that we deposited the file that they provided. (Of course, we are sending them an email saying this, which is why I'm putting this in the backlog. I don't think this needs to be fixed now.)
In the last step, when the deposit is successful, I believe RMD writes to AI and enters "Deposited to ScholarSphere" in this field. However, the "Activity insight postprint status" field in RMD does not get updated. I know this because for very recently deposited items (see the list of ScholarSphere work deposits), that field in RMD remains "In Progress." For slightly older items (deposited prior to the last Activity Insight import, that field in RMD is "Already Openly Available."
I believe this is happening because, upon import from AI to RMD, RMD checks whether the article is already OA, and it is (because of the ScholarSphere copy we just deposited), so it gets taken out of the workflow and that status gets set in AI and then imported to RMD.
