theres a few things i forgot to mention. itd be nice to have volume control over all the individual channels, not just the 2a03 and one controller for all the extra soundchips. i also have a feeling the sunsoft 5b's chip is emulated at the wrong volume. along with that, dip switches still need to be emulated.
this may be asking for too much, and i apologize if it is..
ONE LAST THING I FORGOT TO MENTION jeez im terrible at remembering things: i have disksys.rom placed in a folder named bios. despite this, fds games wouldnt load. what am i doing wrong?
• an ability to pause emulation. it would be nice to pause the entire emulation in order to navigate tabs without the game running.

• window maximizing. not fullscreen, a maximized window. basically a window filling up the entire space except for the taskbars. an option to either have the screen stretched out, in 4:3 mode or have 1:1 pixels would be terrific!!
You prefer it to full-screen mode?
• a fast-forward and rewind system akin to that of nestopia or bizhawk. the current fast-fowarding function doesnt really do it for me.
Thank you for your suggestion.
• will you be adding support for the VS system or other famicom accessories like the keyboard?
As for the keyboard, I'm going to emulate it. As for the Vs. System, I do not know yet.
• i want to use left ctrl as my turbo B button, but when i hold down control, the emulation will freeze until i let go of the key. why does this happen?
Why ctrl left is associated with the rewind function. If you press the arrow keys while holding down the ctrl you can send it back (and bring it forward) the playing time.

You probably have a bad dumps of the rom.
thanks for answering. i apologize again because i kept forgetting a lot of things when i originally posted this. i have a feeling it was during midnight i was writing and i was too tired to pay attention. glad to see a pause function is being added. anyways...
You prefer it to full-screen mode?
yes i do!! but still, i think you should leave in fullscreen mode for those who prefer fullscreen. id just prefer a maximized window.

ahh. i see now. it would be nice to change ctrl to a different key.
furthermore, when i select "allow up+down and left+right" in settings, they are the only settings that do not save.
the only things you didnt answer to were the audio suggestions and dip switches thing. the sunsoft 5b could be too loud, but im not very sure about that. (along with that i think the vrc7 is pitched up too high.)
dip switches would be nice for games like the nintendo world championships or bootleg games that use the dip switch.
You probably have a bad dumps of the rom.
turns out i misunderstood, i thought i had to put it in a folder called 'bios' when i was just supposed to put it in the punes folder.
anyway, im glad to see this project going!! keep up the good work!
now im not sure if this is the place to put these sorts of things..but i dont know where else to put them.
just today i found out about puNES and heard about how accurate it supposedly is. i tried it and im liking it so far, but there are a few things i want to address...
here are some things id like to see added in puNES: • an ability to pause emulation. it would be nice to pause the entire emulation in order to navigate tabs without the game running. • window maximizing. not fullscreen, a maximized window. basically a window filling up the entire space except for the taskbars. an option to either have the screen stretched out, in 4:3 mode or have 1:1 pixels would be terrific!! • a fast-forward and rewind system akin to that of nestopia or bizhawk. the current fast-fowarding function doesnt really do it for me.
and here are some questions i have about said emulator: • will you be adding support for the VS system or other famicom accessories like the keyboard? • i want to use left ctrl as my turbo B button, but when i hold down control, the emulation will freeze until i let go of the key. why does this happen?
despite these little gripes i had, everything else was fine by me. a few of my games didnt work, mainly because they were bootleg game dumps with mappers not supported yet.
