hi, I need to record a video with fps above 240 but I can't change it in the config folder because the file simply goes back to default, is there any way to record at 480fps? in mineme 1.12.2 and 1.7.10 i managed to do this

What is your need for 480fps? Testing high refresh rate monitors? If you're looking for HFR video for slow motion playback, you can also change the engine speed.

I always record videos at 480fps in other versions, the video comes out very smooth and I would like to try in 1.18.2 as well

Yeah not sure I see much point in this, though given how trivial it is to change the max value of the config I suppose I can up it at some point.

the videos I record are always above 480fps because I think it's beautiful, is there any way to change it? when i try to change the setting it goes back to 240fps

I think it's necessary, I've already used 980fps

There is absolutely no reason to need to record at anything greater than 240fps (let alone 980fps) unless your goal is to drop this into a 60fps timeline for slow motion video and, in that case, there is already an option to reduce engine speed.

I figured there was a language barrier here. What is it that you're trying to accomplish with your useless high framerate videos?

YouTube only supports 60fps.
The highest refresh rate in a modern monitor is 480hz (soon to be 540hz) so, even if you did just want to capture content at incredibly high frame rates just to enjoy the playback on your display, there would be no need to go to 980.
If you plan to record at a high framerate and slow it down on a normal 60fps or lower timeline, you can change the engine speed to run much slower during capture, resulting in slow motion playback.

If you read @pupnewfster's reply above, yes, there is a way to increase the cap but there are no immediate plans to do so at the moment.

this is a minecraft mod, in the end any video will be a ''useless video'', I'll use the old version anyway, thanks for nothing

And you still failed to answer my question. I am trying to help you by providing the correct solution to suit your needs so, if you cannot provide me with more information, I'm not sure what you expected.
