I still don't understand why, but sometimes we get this error during changelog generation

merge commit was not found in the release branch or tagged git history and no rebased SHA comment was found

I know this is #971, but I don't understand why it happens or why pushing a temp tag works. Regardless, when it happens my workaround is:

• Create and push a temp tag on main
• Run the auto release workflow
• Change the temp tag in the generated changelog to the version it should actually be
• Delete the temp tag
