Can't share public folder #82

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make a folder "Public" through pitho's web interface
2. Give folder's URL to someone
3. The person can't enter the folder and see the files. He gets a 500 error 
like the one in the attached picture

Release 1.4.0.1 (march 4) fixes this bug.
