[MegaIssue] Inability to send pictures on WhatsApp #1744

Bug I can't send/upload on whatsapp any pictures after jailbreak. I can receive and download any media and send also vocal messages. The only problem is when i try to send an image.

suggestions How can i send you the logs?

I'm afraid you are trying to advertise for these bypass app. For me none is working for this issue, otherwise show us the evidence

i found a way to send pictures guys!!!!! LOL Try to upload a picture from Whatsapp chat, select the one you want to send, wait 2 second and then send it... it will works... that's crazy.... unfortunately it is impossible with videos Proof: https://youtu.be/u40GjTzV-v4

This issue only in 13.0 13.1 and all below 13.3.... 13.3 users not have this issue.... and why pwn20wnd or any other unc0ver developer don’t give a fix I Dm But no response pls u all do dm maybe they see and fix this issue in next update as 13.3 users not have this issue...

It’s not hard way to fix as 13.3 users use it... and pwn20wnd have 13.3 pro max... so maybe he don’t have any information about that bug in Lower iOS.... so I requested to all pls Dm unc0ver developers to see this bug and fix it as priority...

I'm heavy user of sending media by WhatsApp. As the jailbreak easy now, I restart the iPhone to go back to unjailbreak, then I can work easily with WhatsApp Unfortunately this is the way now. I. Waiting new version on unc0ver or an update from WhatsApp maybe help

If you have the latest app sync on Cydia, back up your WhatsApp data, download a duplicate of WhatsApp from http://duplicatorstore.com/ And transfer use that instead, worked for me, it’s a pain if you have loads of messages but it’s a good short term fix

This is ad for something not related to our issue. Just wait for v. 4.3.0

This is how you can send pictures normally with WhatsApp while it doesn’t work in a jail broken state, how is that not related, is the issue not the problem with WhatsApp?

we need our original WhatsApp work normally. It's not for another WhatsApp you have from different site If you really know the issue, it's already sloved with v. 4.3.0

I’ve got 4.3.0 on my iPhone 11 pro max running 13.1.1 and mines still not working, but ok sorry. Only trying to help, the site gives you duplicates of WhatsApp anyway if needed

I found adding a caption or a text to the image just before sending it works.

Could be work for sending a small file and one file only (not for video for sure).

I’ve given up and gone back to non jailbroken. For me it’s not worth it if basics like What’sApp isn’t working

No need to shout. I’ve tried that and it didn’t work. The issue is far beyond that I’m sure Unc0ver will resolve this with a fix soon

unfortunately, v.4.3.0 and v.4.3.1 did not help us to solve the issue of sending media via WhatsApp (IOS 13.0.0 to 13.1.3) hopefully, the coming version will do it

I don’t understand what it is meant by “heavy testing” if reported issues like this one still exist. Also, some testers claimed they had no WhatsApp or iMessage issues on 4.3 but they are obviously on 13.3, which doesn’t have these issues on 4.2 in the first place.

The bug persist, even in the latest version of Unc0ver (4.3.1) im on IOS 13.1.3 and i just can send pics when im in other app, and then ai click to share to whatsapp. That works for me, but audio...nahh

Won't work with audio or video or big size photo. This is the problem since then

iPhone Xr | iOS 13.1.2

I had the same issue since Unc0ver v4.0, I have updated to 4.3.1 which was hyper to fix the issue, but it didn't, the issue is still there. Anyone got a fix or a workaround for this?

They have informed us that the new version will fix it. They were keeping saying that from 26 Feb. until we have noticed its fix nothing :( All the 4.3.0 testers who told its fixed, they disappeared now

You just can do it, if you already saved the blobs ( if you don’t know seek on the web) but the window of 13.3 its already closed .... so.... nahh

I guess he doesn’t understand that a lot of people in the jailbreak community DO use whatsapp and we are trying to find a solution to this problem

I understand they provide jailbreak for free but they need to have some consideration to those who use their product. I hope other hackers get into the game soon.

We're just waiting a fix, if the problem will not be fixed just let us now, cz every day I check this page and the unc0ver website for a new version like a dumb searching for a fix :(

Guys, just to let you know that if you are using the web version of whatsapp (on MAC or PC while WhatsApp is connected in your jailbroken device), sending media through the web is not affected.

Web-version needs the connection by WhatsApp on your phone. it shows there is no problem with the connection of WhatsApp. The problem with jailbreak only. You can laugh now!
