(vdpau?) MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: unknown #409

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play any video
2. Close GNOME MPlayer
3. Repeat first two steps until the error pops up

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of terminating quietly, an error pops up saying "MPlayer
interrupted by signal 11 in module: unknown".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
GNOME MPlayer revision 1714 on Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit. This also happens with
the version from Ubuntu's repositories (0.9.9.2).
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT with 195.36.15 drivers.

Please provide any additional information below.
The error is sporadic so it might not always show up. It does not matter
how GMPlayer is closed. I also suspect that it only occurs with vdpau,
since the problem did not occur with other variants of video output.

Sounds like an mplayer bug, ensure you have the current version of mplayer.
Perhaps
even getting it from SVN or another repository.

I have been using a freshly compiled version of mplayer from SVN the past few
days and the error did not pop up again so far. It was indeed an issue with
mplayer. Thanks.
