Reason for request

Lost 2FA authentication app and recovery codes but not Lost access to email address but not Lost access passwords just Lost 2FA authentication app and recovery codes, when reinstall windows

(i do not if i "I agree to follow the PSF Code of Conduct " or not, but i can not press Submit new issue untill press "I agree to follow the PSF Code of Conduct " so thats why i press i, am i tell the fact? also with "I understand that it may take a significant amount of time to process my account recovery request. *"

User PyKeys has valid recovery codes generated as of 2024-01-28 14:15:36.923422.

Please use those recovery codes to regain access to your account.

are you can not read, or can not understans, or not want ? i write 'just Lost 2FA authentication app and recovery codes, when reinstall windows'. send some recovery way or login by email now and after that i will get codes again. or just take account for you but not lie..

Hi @PyKeys,

In order to start the account recovery process to reset your 2FA and recovery codes, your account needs to have a valid/active link to a public repo of your project. Unfortunately, when I took a look into your account, there was no such active link.

What I can offer as a workaround is for you to send an email to support@pypi.org confirming your intent to reset your 2FA and recovery codes with a link to this issue (https://github.com/pypi/support/issues/3624). There will be a 7 day wait period from that email as part of our verification/security policy, after which we will go ahead and reset your account and go from there. Thanks!
