Please make categorized layers logic optional, as it adds a hard dependency on QGIS #24

The categorized layers logic adds a hard dependency on QGIS, and furthermore assumes it's running on a *nix system (QgsApplication.setPrefixPath("/usr", True)). Please make the logic optional. See [1] in the no_categorized branch as a temporary workaround.
