Does your board works with their software supplied? Can you check if your USB is not faulty?
@megamanhxh yes, it works no problem with the software it came with
I'm presuming the Macropad you have could be different VenderId and different ProductId. Based on the layout list, I don't seem to see any layout support what you described (8 buttons, 1 knob). It will be hard to assume and determine the configuration required in layout.txt
and config.txt
.
Perhaps check your device VendorId and ProductId, and compare it against config.txt
and layout.txt
Note that VendorId & ProductId in
config.txt
is in Decimal, where you can find in Device Manager HardwareId as Hexdecimal.
Here an example how you can identify the VendorId and ProductId:
Edit: Check out readme.md, as the author pointing out how to find it in Device Manager: https://github.com/rOzzy1987/MacroPad?tab=readme-ov-file#adding-your-own
