@essen I had to revert this due to obscure CI failures, will provide you data when you are back from holidays.
Here's what fails on CI. Note that we moved to Erlang 21.2 the same day so I am not 100% sure which that is. Perhaps this shouldn't go into 3.7.10, though, we can sort it out later.
You might have found a bug in the ssl application, seems it returns an invalid gen_statem callback return value. Not sure that's the real issue though.
I'll send a PR to OTP over the week-end, the issue is simple enough to fix.
