on your gbatemp thread announcing the release of choidujour (thank you for it by the way), you state that updating past 4.0.0 with choidujour will automatically create a launch target in the ini.
i am currently on 3.0.0 and want to update to a newer firmware, i am not sure what i need to do to ensure that i use the launch target choidujour will add everytime i boot so that my gamecart firmware will be maintained.
i am chainloading atmosphere-0.8.5 through hekate-4.9.1. the nogc option is set to auto in hekate.
do i need to do anything else? will choidujour add a config option to hekate_ipl.ini for my atmosphere autoboot setup?
according to CTCaer, hekate prevents gamecart controller firmware updates by disabling the gamecart reader (link), making it impossible to play games from cartridges.
is disabling the gamecart reader the only way to prevent the update?
