Proposed changes to enable a Jain SIP user to specialize message
processors/channels.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Proposed patch attached. Main changes:
- some classes/methods scopes (e.g., package to protected)
- some final keywords removed
- run() methods not directly calling constructors anymore
