Error Starting Kubernetes - limactl exited with code 1 #7592

Actual Behavior

Hi Folks, I'm facing the similar issue, since I'm having 2018 Mac , and rancher 1.16.0. image

Steps to Reproduce

In Mac OS Catalina with rancher 1.16.0

Result

wile launching getting below error, also @jandubois I've tried your first script tHt you've mentioned in https://github.com/rancher-sandbox/rancher-desktop/issues/532 it works fine, but in the second one I don't find this directory /Users/$USER/Library/State/rancher-desktop/lima/rancher-desktop

in ha.stderr.log I can see

Expected Behavior

Rancher desktop should start and run with kubernetes

Same issue on MacOS Ventura 13.5. Tried downgrading back to Rancher version 1.15.1 and now the same error comes up

Ohh!!, thanks for the heads up @richardcann , thought of upgrading to Big sur. Better I hold that thought now.
