AhHa - I hadn't noticed this option! But it doesn't seem to work. When I check 'Use Ncorr Jones' to on, I only get a sequence of error messages like:

node 'psvTO:128:129': no main value in this Vellset (while getting result for request ev.0.0.0.1)

What you're suggesting is a bit of a hack -- it might work, but then again I can't be sure. However, there's already Jones module (Siamese.OMS.oms_n_inverse) that'll do what you want -- it will insert a Jones term equal to exp{-iwn} for every source, thus effectively forcing n=1 all over the sky. This should work with any sky model, not just the gridded skies.
