The arm can get stuck in a position it can't get out of. This happened to me when I picked up a can in the middle of the table and the receptacle was at the bottom left of the table.

We can deal with this by either placing the objects in "nice" places or by path planning (i.e. chopping up the path)

So I noticed that the arm will eventually get to the correct spot (if reachable), but it may take a loooong time.
