1 year ago I am curious about the same thing. The Firefox user agent can be manually switched from Firefox configuration by accessing about:config configuration page. I do not know much about web browser add-ons but I find it a little bit weird that an extension that changes the user agent needs permission to access all data for all the websites.

I apologize for opening this issue, but posting at your site will not complete for me, and I don't see anywhere else to ask. This is what I was trying to post:
Hi. Does this extension send any data (besides the user agent) to anywhere? "Access your data for all websites" is a little concerning. Why is such a broad permission needed to transmit a UA string? I'm not being accusatory or implying anything, so please don't take any offense. As I said, simply concerned, and would really appreciate it if you could explain this for me. Thank you.

Again, apologies for cluttering up the Issues here, but I really would appreciate some insight. I've been burned by extensions in the past, and I admit I'm too ignorant to evaluate the code, or discern the reason for the permission.
