Is there anything I can do to help get this merged?

I had to change the readme files and the length was getting over 200, but the allowed limit was 80 so I was facing a lot of linting issues. Wasn't able to get rid of them

I made an example PR into your fork with an example solution.

The other errors come from:

extra blank lines - we only allow no more then one
mismatch between link and label caused by mass text replace (See: https://github.com/DavidAnson/markdownlint/blob/v0.29.0/doc/md052.md)

I hope this will help and it will allow you to reopen this PR. We are interested in merging this.
