Battery drain while app in the background or screen off #1373

Steps to reproduce

-Phone fully charged -Run the app and play any video for couple seconds. -Turn off screen -sleep for 8 hours

Expected behavior

The battery should be at least at 90-95%

Actual behavior

The battery is at most 20-30%
