please close this issue queue if it is not canonical #24

There is no metadata listing github as the preferred location for tickets, so RT is the default... but some people are finding this issue queue anyway, which makes things more complicated for you. Could you pick one? :) (you can close the github issue queue from gathering more entries in the Settings tab.)

I think this issue can be closed as fixed since the metadata now lists Github as the preferred location for bug reports:

Seems to have been fixed in commit ed089ed700521eab16e3a71f08b9340d9488eeed in 2019.
