Hey, friflaj. I know you're busy, but if you or any of your users can explain how to use this, I'd be most grateful.

For those who don't know how to install this, look for the link marked "Install by downloading the latest version." You'll get an xpi file, which you should open in Firefox. That'll isntall the Zotero storage scanner extension in Firefox.

friflaj, I'm guessing one should have the zotero Firefox extension installed. Mine is, and it's pointing to my zotero library. But I'm not sure how to run your storage scanner plugin. I'm not seeing any tags called "#broken," though emilianoeheys on zotero's forums said your extension tags items with missing attachments with "#broken" (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/9568/library-scan-for-missing-attachments/#Comment_184218).

Thanks!

Emilianoheyns is me :-) there's an entry in zotero's gear menu called 'Storage scanner" that kicks off the scan. After that you might find the tags in your tag cloud, but #broken ought to be very, very rare. The only way I ever got #broken was when I went spelunking in the storage directory directly - not recommended.
