Would be really cool if the plugin could detect the location of the currently open file and suggest that as a location for the new file.

Hmm, I think it's a nice feature, but as an optional setting. I believe Atom packages can have user settings, but I'll have to investigate.

Implemented in v0.6.0 as a package setting: "Suggest Current File Path".
