Account is/is not set up and chosen:is
Android version:froyo
Android device has/has not been rooted/modified:rooted running Rubix
Android device: Motorola Droid X
Carrier:Verizon
Country:US
Version of android2cloud Android app:2.0.1
The server I'm using:https://android2cloud.appspot.com/
The Google Account name that I logged in with:seanvolt

What I am doing, step-by-step:Click android2cloud from android share menu or
send URL from app itself

What I expect to see:the website on my computer

What I see:nothing

These additional problems might be related: I no longer have the android2cloud
button on my chrome toolbar AND when I use google OAuth when I install the app,
after clicking grant access, I see a 404 error appear on the browser right
before the words "Successfully added account!" I've already uninstalled and
reinstalled both the app and the extension.

Same thing happens for me. Followed the instructions, been using previous
versions without issue. Nothing transfers to any of my machines, yes, they're
all named differently.

The button has been removed as of version 2.0-- it should no longer appear. In
other words, that part of it is working as intended.

The links not opening could be related to a bug that was discovered for a rare
number of people. I'll be issuing that fix shortly. If it continues after that,
please do let me know.

I am also using the Droid X (unrooted) and am having the same problem (not
seeing the 404 error though). I hit "Send" message comes up that it sent
and...nothing.

I don't know if this will provide any useful information, but I was having
the same problem after downloading the app update for my Epic 4G. I had
advanced mode enabled to try to choose between accounts for work browser and
home (which never worked). I did not enable silent send. I uninstalled and
reinstalled several times but still no result. I went into the phone app,
cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, and disabled advanced options
and left default as "Chrome." I also reinstalled browser extension and left
default as "Chrome." Still no result, but when I closed and restarted Chrome
on my laptop, links I had sent with no result started opening. I have no
idea why it started working, but that is as close to exactly as I can
remember what happened when it suddenly did.

P.S. I just tried sending a test link from the phone and nothing happened, but
when I closed and restarted Chrome, boom, there's my link. So there. (I usually
have 8-15 tabs open at the same time, btw)

Definitely sounds like the bug. I'm hoping to get the patch out to beta testers
this weekend, and roll the changes out to everyone next weekend.

Sorry for the delay, and thank you for your patience.

No,thank you for the hard work and time in making this app. If it stops
working, restarting my laptop Chrome browser always pushes the page(s) through.
I am buying the donate app as a thanks and look forward to your improvements.

Mine isn't working either. Exactly like the first person described. On my phone
it says "sent", but on the Chrome browser on my computer, nothing happens. I
have setup everything according to the default settings and clicked on "save"
on every page, including granting Google access on my account.

Same here, even once I figure out naming and can get links to send, once I
switch IPs, behavior becomes very erratic. Sometimes if I restart Chrome, the
link will pop up. Even stranger, when I return to my home IP, Chrome will
sometimes open up a whole bunch of links I had sent in the past and already
opened.

As above - however I do not get new pages when I restart Chrome. Same issue
with Chromium on Ubuntu too (I use Chrome on Windows Vista)

Hi! I just upgraded my phone (Galaxy S - Vibrant) to Froyo and decided to use
your app, since I can now use clouds. I got the Chrome2Phone working just
fine, however I'm experiencing the same problem as people have stated in this
post.

I left everything as the default setting (Default Host, Default Identifier). I
followed the steps outlined in your Setup Guide. however, when I press send on
my phone, it says "sent" but nothing happens on my computer.

I only tried this on one computer and left the identifier as Chrome. This app
has never worked for me, this is a fresh install on February 7, 2011

Sorry for the issues. I'm working on an update that should hopefully resolve
most the problems. I apologise for the lack of stability recently, and thank
you for your patience.

Curiously, I've had this app working fine until very recently (within the past
five days, after the most recent comment on this issue). This was one of the
first apps I installed after first getting an android, which should indicate
just how useful and valued it is to me. Looking forward to having it working
again :D

This should be fixed as of the 2.0.3 update I pushed last night. If it's not,
please do file a support request at http://links.android2cloud.org/help
