When looking for a misbehaving mod it would be very handy (and I can't stress enough how much) to filter out addons by categories like UI, QoL, Map generation etc. It could be implemented in similar way to sorting rules, i.e. to be defined in About.xml and community database.
And while I am here, if it gets implemented, as there are way too many ways to tag mods (weapons, caravan, animals, races, food, pathing, crafting, farming, clothing, races...) there would be needed an option to hide some categories from the filter menu
Meanwhile, @Xabab I suggest using some color-coded categories. It is definitely not that comfy as text/icon/text&icon categorization would be, but at least something
