Please review my 2 accounts on ripple. Jasinlee I toyed with your system to attempt to doublespend, but as a result I was instead able to create free XRP in the amount of about 1,000. I dont know the exact amount that was in the account at the time, but I know it was less than 500, I attempted a trade on bitstamp with fake bitcoins I made and fake USD. Then suddenly I had 1k xrp. I was told to come here and post this issue for the bounty?

What is the account (the string starting with the letter "r", like "rQay7bQ3XoZcT6E3c8uDopZdnWaMBxWea2") that has the extra XRP?

GitUser1123 commented 11 years ago

It is raPSArpfKVQJ7y6WFEYY1pAprSyzRy56by

That account was funded 50,000, spend most of that on XRP, then received 51 XRP and then sold some Bitcoins for XRP. Here is a description of the significant transactions:

Funded, 50,000 XRP TXID 26CE1D49C7D3AC4E0F297E67D48C37330019474FBE3A0FBF92DD70692899A3CF Ledger 257928

Created offer to buy 10 BTC for 400,000 XRP TXID DEBA84AD2BF3BC0C91039F3D3CBDC6B9A2501777133EB65E9F6946FB4C6D8BE2 Ledger 293542 Balance now 300 XRP (just reserve)

Received, 51 XRP TXID B337666B07ABC82B01962D8A02DCB79F7631E0FA878A8C2CDFBA340A58FBFA5A Ledger 394311 Balance now 351 XRP

Created offer to sell 0.5 BTC for 15,000 XRP TXID B1880ED078873483544110904ABC19AF35210BCF3D192C645FC91CCC4C55EEF2 Ledger 394320 Balance now 1,074.56 XRP

I'll investigate who issues the Bitcoins that were sold and who accepted them.

Right, but the part you should keep in mind, there were 0 bitcoins in the account. I created them.

You had Bitcoins (issued by Bitstamp) from your sale of XRP, as a result of DEBA84AD2BF3BC0C91039F3D3CBDC6B9A2501777133EB65E9F6946FB4C6D8BE2.

GitUser1123 commented 11 years ago

At the time the account said I did not, but you may be correct, I thought I pulled all of them out of bitstamp. I would have to check my bitstamp account to find out if that is accurate or not. In that case there would be an unrelated issue in the way it was reporting at the time.

It's possible that someone consumed part of your offer when you weren't looking, giving you XRP when you weren't expecting them. You can find all your transactions with metadata at this URL for the next 7 days: http://www.fileconvoy.com/dfl.php?id=gd941c5ebca2d14cb99925718510789ee220c45070
