Let It Rain - Desktop Rain Simulation for Windows

Welcome to Let It Rain, an ASMR-inspired rain simulation for the Windows desktop. This lightweight app brings a soothing visual experience by simulating raindrops falling from the top of your screen and splattering as they reach the taskbar.

Installation

1. Clone this repository or download the latest release.
2. Run the exe directly after downloading or after building.

Usage

• After launching the app, raindrops will begin falling on your desktop.
• Access the preferences dialog by right-clicking the tray icon and selecting Options.
• To exit the app, right-click the tray icon and choose Quit.

Requirements

• Windows 10/11
• May work on older systems, but not tested.

Settings

Customize your rain experience with these options, available in the Preferences dialog:

• Max Raindrops: Control the number of raindrops on the screen.
• Rain Direction: Choose the angle at which the raindrops fall.
• Rain Color: Select the color of the raindrops for a personalized look.

• Make drop speed adjustable.
• Pause while CPU is busy with any other tasks.
