What's the problem you're hoping this new feature will solve?

The welcome email is trying to do too much. Pretty sure no one is reading all that. There's an onboarding bottleneck of information between the welcome email and all the information on the first page when it's in the empty-data state.

Description of feature

Trim the welcome email down to the essentials. Offer some links for more information, but focus on getting someone logged in and ready to go.
