Hi Robert I connected my daikin air conditioner with daikin onecta to my homey pro 2023. I imported it to homekit with homekitty. I see my air conditioner as a thermostat in Homekit, but it does not transfer to homey when I turn it on and off. Example: I turn my air conditioner on and off from Homey without any problems. When I open it from homekit, the action I do in homey does not appear. If I turn on the air conditioner from homey, it still shows off in homekit.

I don't know if this problem has existed before. Because yesterday I bought the air conditioner and it was installed in the home. I restarted Homekitty, restarted Homey but no results. All other devices I transferred to homekit with homekitty are working fine. Homekitty v2.2.7 test

I've been having a conversation with another user that has a Daikin Perfera.

The issue with that device, which I suspect is also the issue with your device, is that the developer of the Daikin app has chosen not to use the built-in thermostat_mode capability but instead opted for a custom capability combined with the built-in onoff capability. That's something that cannot be supported in HomeKitty.

As an alternative, I suggested to the other user that they can use the Virtual Devices app to create a virtual socket that will appear in HomeKitty, and to create flows that will be triggered by the socket being switched on/off, and then switch your airconditioner on/off.

According to the other user, this works.
