Need to run the test images, laser cut some foam, and make sure that the tools actually fit. If they don't, fix the algorithms.
Or, 3D scan the tools with something top-notch, take a silhouette of the mesh and compare that with the generated outlines. This would allow for more automated validation.
Also, more test images are desired.
