TX2 sound card launch error #1

Looks like a TX2 sound card error in beat_makers > beat_detector.py.

Editting /etc/asound.conf per the docs helped some: https://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Setting_the_default_device

Also, change card profiles if required, for example:

pactl set-card-profile 0 output:hdmi-stereo-extra1
pactl set-card-profile 2 output:analog-stereo

It should look like:

$ cat /proc/asound/cards

It looks like everything is working, except HDMI is not disabled. This has been good progress to document the steps. I'll plug in a keyboard and monitor and try disabling it that way.

I logged in with monitor and manually turned off HDMI audio output. I am still getting this error: ALSA lib confmisc.c:1286:(snd_func_refer) Unable to find definition 'cards.tegra-hda.pcm.front.0:CARD=0' .

It overwrote /etc/asound.conf, so I had to sudo vim it again.

I will reboot and try again.
