It looks like the file sizes have nearly doubled, even though the edits were minor. It looks like the culprit is the JPEG compression level, which was set to 87 in the originals, now at 98 (out of 100), which may be more than what is really needed for these images.

@XueXia329 what software are you saving these images from? Does it have a way to set the compression level? If so, 85 is usually adequate. If you don't see such an option, just let me know and I can do it pretty quickly here.

It's not a huge increase for just these few files, but it could start to add up over time. We haven't really discussed any sort of standards for images in the project, so I've opened issue #270 where we can start that conversation and get input from the group.
