One button switching multiple panels #12

Goal is to have a menu button switch content in a main window and content in a 
corresponding side menu 

I presumed i could just have two switching panels with the same div id and have 
the button switch them both but only the first panel on the html sheet is drawn 
the other never appears.

I downloaded the plugin yesterday and am still getting to grips with it so i 
could be missing something very straightforward, any advice would be much 
appreciated.
