Nothing fancy, you simply don't have to read the readme.

Can you please remove the change to line 10 from your pull request, which is just cosmetic and makes the makefile less readable for unexperienced users, and portability would have to be checked again on all target systems. I will approve the pull request if it just contains the addition of the "make check".
