@rgrp If people subscribe on http://pad.okfn.org/p/openproducts, they have technical skill and it's better to have a single place to discuss (http://pad.okfn.org/p/openproducts was just to have a listing of people of the labs interested by the project,...

I'm a senior systems, network, & DBA guy with intermediate software developer, HTML5/CSS, and statistics. I also dabble with graphics design, animation, and visualization technologies. Day job is devops. Languages used for day job include: Python, Bash, SQL, Java, javascript, PHP.

Just our skills are enough for the moment,... because yes, we will have discussions like "should we continue to develop the website and the future management platform in python or php etc,..."

I'm a Java/Scala guy, but since I'm a web app developer, I've been known to do some HTML/CSS/XML/JavaScript (but not design, just functionality).

I'm very interested ;-) Fan of Open-Source (soft and data) Skills: PHP, HTML/CSS, JS (beginner with Node.js), Java (beginner with Android).

What about the future management platform ? PHP or plan switch to another techo ?

Maybe I can contribute to this repo... But only if it remains in PHP because I see other projets are in Python...

I might be interested. I'm an "old" contributor of Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap, and I'd like to help in populating a free and open barcode database.

I'm also a free software user and amateur developer (Python, HTML, CSS, etc.).
