Clean up main app UI code #2

Routing code used in PoC https://github.com/ruinernin/foxylists/blob/master/plugin.video.foxylists/resources/lib/router.py seems like a good candidate for cleaning up here.

Need to ensure backwards compatibility with current OpenMeta player.
