by the way: you could have a look at raspicam_node (forum announcement post, GitHub repo) to see if we could use that as a drop-in replacement or if there are ideas there which you might want to re-use.

I'm pretty sure the raspicam_node would work better, but I think we should try it with my package because it is built up quite simply. This makes it a lot easier for me and my classmates, who are not on such a high programming level, to read it. However, if we run into a lot of problems because of this node, I would also recommend changing the node to the professional one.
