Update to new gradle plugin(s) #1

This is either migrating to kotlin-platform-native or to the new kotlin-multiplatform. Probably the latter, unless there are particular roadblocks that make it hard to adopt on mobile right away.

I've done partial work on this for both plugins but keep running into difficulties with publishing or testing at some point in the stack

Figured things out on kotlin-platform-native, so I'm going to close this and open a new issue for kotlin-multiplatform down the road when it feels time to upgrade to that.
